Poem Competition

 I felt nervous before saying my poem to the class because I thought I would mess up.
I felt proud after saying my poem to the class because I wasn't nervous and scared anymore.
I think I did an awesome job at reciting my poem because I had eye contact and said it loud and stayed still.

Art

 

My favourite step of doing this artwork was going outside to look at the trees because I loved the leaves and trunk. I love my artwork because painting on the leaves with the cotton balls was fantastic and colouring in the truck too. Using the different colours was awesome as well.

Persuasive Writing

 

We are learning to write a persuasive piece of writing to try convince the reader our opinion. I can come up with reasons why you should buy this broken toy. It was easy to come up with reasons because at first it was really hard to think about it but when we did the brain storm it got a little easier. By thinking about this broken toy made me come up with lots of reasons. I had tons but I picked only my main favourite reasons.

Nga Tae

 We are learning to learn about physical characteristics in Te Reo Maori. I can identify some Maori colours. I enjoyed learning about Maori colours because when I'm older I will know them. They really help with my learning. Saying them is a challenge but its an epic challenge and fun. The work sheets are very fun and exciting I love to colour. Colours are satisfying for me. They even have my favourite colours that is why I love colours. 

Instruction Writing

I was learning to write instructions. I can write my instructions in the right order. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I like my Monster Soup recipe because it's gross and funny also it helps me write better and make made up stories I really like to write and read.

Feelings Art

This term we have been learning all about emotions. We watch the movie Inside Out. We did some 

artwork about feelings and the characters from the movie. I love my artwork because

it has my favourite  colours and emotions also super fun to make.
